Bangladesh Military Museum

Also Known as the Bangabandhu Military Museum, will satisfy this new generation of kids along with the military heritage of our Liberation War. Children will learn about the contribution of Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, and Bangladesh Navy during the time of the Liberation War in 1971. Children can watch heroic acts shown on the battlefield by our military unit.

They can experience the weapons used in the past and present. The ground floor is a combination of information and utility and it has entrances to the 'Toshakhana Jadughar' and the 'Victory Arena'. On the third floor, where kids can learn about participation in the United Nations and the contribution of Chattogram Hill Tracts.

Bangladesh Air Force Museum

This is a family-friendly area where you can visit with your family and kids. This museum is maintained by the Bangladesh Air Force. You can learn about the history of the Bangladesh Air Force and how they contributed to the liberation war. Children can also experience virtual plane riding and visit inside a plane. There are many commercial used old planes available. Some helicopters will amuse your children too.

Liberation War Museum

The Liberation War Museum was established in 1996. It commemorates the heroic struggle of the Bengali nation for their democratic and national rights. You can visit here with your children and they will learn about the history of the Liberation War and how we became an independent country. Take our new generations to be aware of the aspirations for which their forefathers had fought and the spirit of inclusiveness and tolerance that has been the hallmark of this part of Asia.

Shaheed Minar

The Shaheed Minar is located opposite Dhaka Medical College. On the 21st and 22nd of February 1952, students from Dhaka University, and Dhaka Medical College, and political activists were killed when the Pakistani police force opened fire on Bengali protesters who were demanding official status for their native tongue, Bengali. You can visit this place with your children and tell them about the history of our language movement.
